A proud military brat raised in San Antonio, Texas, I graduated from The Citadel and earned my Master's degree from Boston University before putting down roots in Northern Virginia in 1994 — drawn by a passion for competitive rowing and the promise of something greater. Today, I split my time between Alexandria and Cumberland County, Virginia, where I am lovingly tending a nut tree farm and walking in the spirit of Virginia's great gentleman farmers — Washington, Jefferson, and Madison before me.

I am passionate about raw land, farms, homesteads, and helping people from Northern Virginia discover the gentle beauty of South Central Virginia — where the pace slows, the night sky opens up, and life feels a little more like it was meant to be lived.
